Michele Everts will be demonstrating the Judy Niemeyer paper piecing techniques with the Watermelon Placemat Pattern. She has many tricks and tips to show you how to make your paper piecing easier and more precise. Jane will be demonstrating how to make the Hexagonal Tuffet. There will be a special offer and gift for everyone who attends the demonstration!
Scissors, Knives, Rotary Blades Sharpening Clinic
This is your chance to get your scissors, knives, and rotary blades sharpened by Wheatland Sharpening Service. July 20, 2019 bring your tools in a day or two ahead of then or on the day of, and they will be ready to pick up later that day.

Michele is studying to become a Judy Niemeyer certified teacher and has spent weeks training with Judy. Each class will include Judy's expert paper piecing techniques that allow for beautifully precise quilts. Click on the picture of the classes above to find out more information. Free Motion Quilting with Penny Olive - A Wholecloth Quilt Workshop
September 27-28, 2019
Come spend September 27 and 28 with one of Wyoming's premier free-motion quilting teachers, Penny Olive at Lickety Stitch Quilts. Penny has prepared this class just for her returning students and others with some free-motion quilting experience. It is a great class for all free-motion quilters who want to increase their skills, both on a domestic machine and on a mid- or long-arm machine.
She will start the day on Friday with a warm up of Quilting Calisthenics (you may see some new ones), then move to a refresher on the construction of a feather plume followed by doodling and/or stitching any key design elements of the quilt. Each student will end the day marking their quilt top, which will be done using ½ yard of fabric or two fat quarters.
Saturday each student will begin stitching their very small own wholecloth quilt. There will be options for a simpler or more difficult version as well as suggestions for ways to make it your very own unique masterpiece. A complete supply list will be provided in late August but you might want to wait to select your fabric until Friday when you learn a little more about the design.
