Open Sew Day
Have you started a project in a class at Lickety Stitch and never finished it? We are opening our classroom on August 6, next Tuesday, for a free sew day to help you get finished with those projects! Space is limited so call to reserve a spot. You can sew between 9-5. If you have a project that was not a class project and would like to come in and sew that day, we will put your name on the waiting list and if we don't have 6 who started in class, we will make room for you! Machine Service Clinic
We are very excited that we have a new sewing machine service technician who will come to our store to do a service clinic. Tracy Miller, of the Sewing Machine MD, LLC has 18 plus years of experience, has been company trained with most of the major brands of machines, and has agreed to come here to service machines. He currently services machines for shops in Rapid City and other South Dakota and Wyoming shops. We will be scheduling a clinic soon - so please call and reserve a spot. We will then contact you about the exact date, and you can bring your machine in the day before or that day and have it returned the same day as long as there is nothing major to fix. We need at least 10 machines for him to come, and there will be a maximum he can do in a day, so call now and get on the list. He services all brands of home machines, industrial machines, long arms, and sergers, 307-334-9963.
I Love Fabric Days
August 15, 16, and 17 are I Love Fabric Days - so we are planning a fun event here at the shop for anyone who loves fabric. Here are a few of the deals we have planned:

Watermelon Placemat Class
Our next Judy Niemeyer class, Watermelon Placemat, is August 23 and 24. We still have space so reserve a spot now. You will learn so much about paper piecing in every one of Michele's classes, and have a great time doing it. Fractured Paintbox is coming up in September-October...as is Free Motion Quilting a Wholecloth Quilt with Penny Olive.
