Open for Business!
Well folks, you can now come to see us in person!  We unlocked the doors as of May 1, and welcome customers to come during our regular business hours which are 9-5 Monday thru Friday, 9-4 on Saturday.  We do ask that you use hand sanitizer as you come in - we have it on our counter, and if you are coming from out of town, we request you wear a mask.

Quilt Sampler Spring 2020

The Quilt Sampler Spring 2020 issue has arrived, and our feature article looks great!  We have many copies available - so if you would like a copy stop in and get it, or you can purchase them on our website.  We have kits for our quilt project in the magazine available also.

Lickety Stitch Quilts is providing cloth masks for those in our community - not selling them but accepting donations for those who would like to donate to continue the project.  Thanks to those sewists who have joined us making masks and put them here at the shop so we can continue to give them out.  We are giving them out one per person or family member - so hopefully we can keep up with the community need.  In addition, we have been sending what we can out of the community to places that have greater needs and less supply.  We continue to have enough elastic to supply the needs of the community - and continue to sell it to customers one yard elastic with the purchase of one yard of regular priced fabric.  So if you need 1/4" elastic, we do have a limited supply available.

We plan to start up classes again in the shop as of May 16.

Dinnerplate Dahlia: Michele Everts has the first class for Judy Niemeyer's Dinnerplate Dahlia scheduled for  May 16.  This is a large quilt and there will be monthly classes throughout the summer.

Dogwood Placemat:  May 23 is Michele Evert's class for the Dogwood Placemat.  This is a smaller, less involved project that is great for those who want to test whether paper piecing is for them before committing to a large project.

Table Topper Class:  Jane will be teaching the May Table Topper class, Sunset Runner, on May 21 - so get in touch if you are interested in coming to that class.  Above are the fabrics she has chosen to work with - yours can be any colors.

Celestial Snowfall:  Michele is changing the dates for this Judy Niemeyer class to June 5, 12 and 19, three Fridays.
More information about all the classes is available on the front page of our website.

For those of you who love the adrenaline rush of an auction, don't miss our next Facebook Live Sale tomorrow, May 6, at NOON MDT.  We are offering bolt ends from 1-3 yards, sold by the piece at 20 percent off regular price.  We sell to the first person whose "bid" appears in our comments section for each piece, so you have to be quick to get yours in first!  It is a lot of fun and we are having requests for more of these sales.  Follow our Facebook page to be notified of each event we hold.
